Petronas Carigali has awarded a contract to Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corp. for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of three wellhead platforms for the Bokor phase III redevelopment project.
Through an agent, Brooke Dockyard has assigned the provision of sampling double block and bleed ball valves to WIKA Malaysia, who was successful in proposing a competitive offer of Sami valves which fully matched the customer’s specifications, in terms of products, quality, price and delivery.
The three wellhead platforms, partnered by Sarawak Shell, will be installed at the Bokor field, about 45km northwest of Lutong.
Sami has designed and manufactured 44 sampling double block and bleed ball valves in AISI 316L and Duplex F51, complete with wake frequency calculations, ultrasonic tests and dye penetrant tests on the welding of the quill, and positive material inspection.
All 44 valves were shipped ten working days in advance compared to the delivery date requested by the customer.
Once again, the cooperation between WIKA and Sami allowed us to secure an important commission and, more importantly, to provide our customer with a timely, high quality and cost-effective solution.
